What to expect

  • Breakfast & Brunch

    From 9 to 12/1 pm with your favourite dishes and fresh-pressed juices. In summer the breakfast that slowly becomes a brunch.

  • Open Spritz + DJ Set

    Three nights a week. Aperitivo for a young crowd with open spritz and DJ set. Sometimes a small evening DJ set too, for those who want to have fun before dinner.

  • Gourmet Dinner

    30 covers maximum, ex-Michelin chefs, every dish narrated at the table. We want you to fall in love with the food. Reservation required.

  • Late-night Bar

    After dinner the venue turns into a quiet bar. Two drinks, good music, no chaos. Run by the best bartender we've met in years of Milan events.

  • Delivery to your umbrella

    Punta Ala fits within a 3 km radius — 6 riders cover the whole area. Our kitchen reaches you at home, at your beach umbrella, wherever you are.

Our philosophy

Giacomo often feels unwell after dinner — it's always been his problem. That's exactly why our policy is: do well what bothers you, in service and in the kitchen. A thoughtfully designed drink list, food that you digest, honest ingredients.

  • Ex-Michelin chefs

    We didn't hold back. Our chefs come from starred restaurants and collaborations on major projects. Quality on the plate is the starting point, not the goal.

  • Outstanding front-of-house

    After two years running events with thousands of guests we've found the real stars of service. We don't settle for anyone who just shows up with an apron.

  • Short supply chain

    Fish from Castiglione della Pescaia market, Maremma vegetables, local wines. Themed nights: a Spanish evening with jamón ibérico and paella, a charcoal grill night, and many more.

  • Zero waste

    As in our Milan catering: food-cost to the cent, inventory monitored in real time. Leftovers are donated, never thrown away.

A typical day

  1. Morning · Breakfast & Brunch 9:00 – 12:30

    A slow breakfast with your favourite dishes and fresh-pressed juices. Then the brunch that grows naturally: latecomers still find everything. In summer the breakfast that becomes lunch.

  2. Afternoon · Open Spritz + DJ Set

    The moment that's most ours. Young crowd aperitivo with open spritz — thanks to our organiser network. Three nights a week with DJ set. A small set in the early evening too, for those who want to enjoy themselves before dinner.

  3. Evening · Gourmet Dinner · Max 30 covers

    This is where we raise the bar. Ex-Michelin chefs, max 30 covers, every dish told at the table. We want you to fall in love with food and show you what we're worth. This is not a dinner: it's an experience. Booking required.

  4. Night · Bar with Milan's best bartender

    After dinner the place becomes a quiet bar. Two drinks, good music, no chaos. The bartender is the best we've come across in years of Milan events — he's here because he believes in it.

  5. Anywhere · Delivery to your home or beach umbrella

    Punta Ala is roughly 3 km across — 6 riders cover the whole area. Our kitchen comes to you, wherever you are. We pay riders properly, so the service costs a little more — but quality is excellent.

How to get there

Locals know the harbour area can be inconvenient — we have 3 parking spots right next to us. Not the same harbour charm, but we're working on giving this place its own kind of magic. Your new favourite spot.

  • By car

    Follonica Sud exit on the A12, then 18 km along the SS322. 3 parking spots a few steps from the entrance — much easier than the harbour.

  • By train

    Follonica station + direct bus, or Punta Ala-Castiglione station + 5 km by taxi or bike.

  • By plane

    Pisa San Giusto 1h30 by car, Rome Fiumicino 2h15. Shuttle service on request.

Quick questions

When exactly do you open?
Planned for the first week of June 2026. We confirm the exact date only when the build is genuinely done — mailing list folks know first.
Can I book?
Online reservations open in May 2026, on this same page. For larger groups (over 8) or private events, write to us right now at contact@italyondemand.partners.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free?
Yes. At least one vegetarian and one vegan course at lunch and dinner, gluten-free on request. We handle allergies and intolerances separately — flag them at booking.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes — outside always, inside if small and calm. Water bowl and house biscuit on the house.
Is there parking?
Yes — 3 parking spots right next to the entrance, much easier than the harbour area. Covered bike rack at the door for cyclists.
Can the venue be privatised?
Yes, outside service hours or shoulder-season. Up to 60 standing, 40 seated. Write us for a quote.
Do you serve late?
Kitchen open until 23:30 in high season, 22:30 off-season. Bar until 1.
