  • Not included: RT cost (~€30/month, depending on provider) and Stripe payment fees (~1.5% per card transaction).

Frequently asked

  • Do I need to be tax-compliant to use Ordina?

    Yes. Ordina is a management software: to issue valid fiscal receipts in Italy you need a certified Registratore Telematico (RT). Ordina integrates with the main Italian RT providers (Cassa in Cloud, Tilby, TS Pay) but it does not replace them.

  • How long is the trial?

    14 days from activation, no credit card required. If you decide not to continue, your account closes automatically and your data is available for export for 30 days.

  • What if I cancel?

    Cancel any time with 30-day notice. Your data (menu, recipes, invoices, bookings) is exportable as CSV for another 90 days after cancellation. No lock-in.

  • Do I need new hardware?

    No. You need: NFC sticker tags on the tables (we ship them at cost, ~€1/table), a tablet or laptop in the dining room with a modern browser, your current POS. No dedicated Ordina terminal.

  • Is my data safe?

    Hosting on EU servers (Hetzner Falkenstein), daily backups to another EU region, full GDPR compliance, customer data encrypted at rest, full audit log. See our privacy policy for technical detail.

  • Can I try before signing?

    14-day live trial, full setup with real menus, real data, real invoices. If you're not convinced on day 13, no subscription.

  • How does POS integration work?

    For providers listed in the Pro plan (Cassa in Cloud, Tilby, TS Pay) integration is included. For other POSes we run a discovery call to estimate feasibility — some are already integrated, others require custom work (quoted separately).

  • Do you have a plan for associations or one-off events?

    For single events (a wedding, a festival) we use our Italy On Demand catering service: we come to you with menu, staff and full setup. For associations with recurring service, the Pro plan is the natural pick.
